Only Switch
A single place in the menubar to manage handy macOS Preferences

While the macOS does a lot of things right, there are a few things that I think can be improved. For instance, some of the preferences in macOS are hidden deep inside the Preferences app.
The control center doesn’t help either. There are only a handful of things that can be done there. So, if you want to change any preference, you must repeatedly open the control center and search for the preference you want to change. It’s tedious if you ask me.
This is where this open-source app called Only Switch can help. It’s a menubar app that lets you manage important settings that can be toggled on and off.
This includes toggling dark mode, hide/show desktop icons, autohiding dock and menubar, toggling night shift, or even a switch to keep your Mac awake.
Here’s how that looks like.
As you can tell, the app shows a list of switches for different preferences when you click on the menubar icon. You can customize the list from the app’s preferences where you can add (or remove) a whole host of preferences.
I think the works exactly as advertised and certainly, it makes managing preferences a lot easier.
